This policy explains how WorkRate handles information when you use the website at workrate.me.

Information you enter into the calculator

WorkRate lets you enter shift dates, start and finish times, unpaid breaks and hourly rates to calculate paid hours and estimated gross earnings. You do not need to create an account to use the calculator.

WorkRate stores certain information, such as shift details, calculator settings and preferences, in your browser's local storage where applicable. This allows information to remain available when you return using the same browser. Local storage is held in your browser and is not automatically sent to WorkRate's servers. Clearing your browser's stored data may remove saved shifts and settings.

Information entered into the calculator may be processed by your browser to calculate results and generate CSV exports. Avoid entering information that identifies you or other people unnecessarily.

Messages sent through the contact form

If you contact WorkRate, information you submit, such as your name, email address and message, is processed through the website's contact form service. The form is configured to use Netlify Forms, which may store submissions in Netlify's systems so enquiries can be received and answered.

Contact information may be accessed by authorised people managing WorkRate and retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to enquiries, resolve reported issues and maintain appropriate records.

Analytics

WorkRate uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website and to help improve its performance and functionality. Children

WorkRate is a general-purpose calculator and is not designed to request unnecessary personal information from children. If you believe personal information has been submitted inappropriately, please contact WorkRate so the matter can be reviewed.

This policy may be updated when WorkRate's features, service providers or privacy practices change. The date at the top indicates when it was most recently updated.
